I'm Ann, WA1S. I am an Amateur Radio Extra Class and
have been licensed since 1979. I enjoy DXing and have 344 countries and DXCC #1 Honor roll. I also enjoy Contesting, DXpeditions, CW,
and The Dayton Hamvention™. I am a Life member of the American
Radio Relay League and Oceania DX Group. I am a member of the Yankee
Clipper Contest Club , Young Ladies Radio League (YLRL), Australian Ladies Amateur Radio
Association, and Women

doing a Clipperton presentation at the North
Alabama DX Club DX Dinner during the Huntsville Hamfest
in Hunstville, Alabama. I will also be attending the YLRL Convention.

doing a Clipperton presentation at the Maritime DX Forum during the Down East
Hamfest in
Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Volunteer Examiner, and Public Service.

I am a licensed ARMY MARS and have held the callsign AAR1GY since 1980. Vist the Northern New England Army MARS Site.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and work as an
Electronics Engineer for the
Federal
Aviation Administration.
Other interests include Traveling, Scuba Diving, Alpine Skiing,
Photography, Cycling, Cooking, StarTrek and the Boston RedSox .

(ex. KA1OTN), OM of WA1S. I've
been licensed since 1986 and currently hold a General Class
license. My Amateur radio interests include Emergency
communications (I'm an Official Emergency Station) and Digital
Communications. I've completed levels 1 and 2 of the Amateur
Radio Emergency Communications course. I'm a Life member of the American Radio
Relay League .
Volunteer services include W1
Incoming Bureau Sorter, ARES and public service communications. I'm Communications
Captain for the CROP Walk for hunger in Milford and Amherst, NH.
I am an avid Boston Bruins
hockey fan and collect Hockey cards. I'm a Merit
Badge counselor for 7 merit
badges with the Boy Scouts of America in the Daniel Webster Council. I enjoy camping and photography.
