You say nothing to him. The barbarians raid your village and all of the villagers are carried off into captivity. The barbarian chief takes a fancy to the youth and adopts him as his son. The youth adapts very well to barbarian ways; when the chief dies the young man becomes the new chief.

You are a captive of no particular importance. You die early, knowing nothing of the fate of the young man and whether the prophesy would come true.
