Despite your misgivings you obey the Emperor. You invade the lost province with a force that is numerically inferior and less well equipped than that of the barbarians. None-the-less you manage to win victories because of your great tactical skill and have the barbarians at a standstill. Unfortunately while you are fighting in this fruitless war another tribe of barbarians sweeps in, captures the Imperial City, beheads the old Emperor, and establishes a new dynasty. You are recalled and executed.
