It is early in the Age of the North Wind. You are reborn in a military family. There was never any question as to your becoming an officer. Your rise through the ranks is rapid; you become a general at an early age.

The Emperor is ambitious and wants to add to his glory by conquering a neighbouring kingdom. As an experienced military strategist you realize that he does not have the resources he needs and that his campaign is likely to be a failure. For the good of the Empire you need to persuade him that he should not attack. The Emperor will not take kindly to criticism; telling him that his campaign is unwise is politically dangerous. Will you warn him of the danger or will you just obey orders?
