It is early in the age of the north wind. Times are hard; there has been a change of dynasties, and the Emperors of the new dynasty are earnest incompetents. You are reborn as a wagoneer carrying produce from farms to markets. Your father had a regular route that he travelled and merchants and farmers with whom he did business. As the times worsen peasants are driven from their farms and merchants fail. You will have to find new business.

You have many choices. You could take up smuggling as a side line. You could become an informant for bandits. You could move to another part of the Empire where times might be better. Or you could stay where you are and make the best of things. What will you do?
