You make a copy of the key. One evening, while all are asleep, you silently unlock the door to the forbidden wing. In one room you find a woman in chains. She is not badly groomed but it is obvious that she has been imprisoned for a long time. She wakes when you enter your room. You signal her to be quiet. You kneel beside her as she whispers her story.

She says that she is the wife of the master of the house. In a fit of anger he has imprisoned her. You think that this is terrible but what will you do? You could free her and the two of you escape from this house. You could go to the judges of instruction and report this crime. Or you could confront the master of the house. Whatever will you do?
