You liberate horse and supplies and head north in the Northern Wastelands. You feel confident that no one will follow you. You are partly right - the northern wastelands are too barren for your father's riders to discover which way you went; they cannot follow you. The wastelands are not totally empty though; they are home to herders and bandits. You are not wise to the ways that a lone travellers must follows in a hostile wilderness. A troop of bandits spots you and captures you. Being the daughter of a general, you are an important captive and can command a handsome ransom. If you tell the bandits who you are they will probably hold you for ransom. Your father will pay for you, but that will be an end to your plans and your freedom. If you say nothing they will rape you and take all of your posessions. However you might ask them for help. They may respond to that. What will you do? |
