New to me in August 2000. My sister-in-law saw it by the side of the
road in NH. I didn't shop around, I didn't ask anyone, I just bought it
for $5000. Everything worked, it just needed a bath and a new front
couch.
The step is missing its lower half.
ZipDee awning with special customized vent. Can I sew this up myself ?
The original gaucho was removed, and interior panels taken down (by
previous owner) to try and remove mildew smell.
Well, actually there was the rot in the floor in the usual places,
but nothing requiring surgery. I had it towed home, and cleaned and
cleaned.
This is Daisy. Note snazzy ladder. The 5th tube of Vulkem is not
visible in this picture.
Note rivet tool and many cleaning supplies. You can see the added 110v
flourescents. There are three in main cabin, one in hall ,one in bath
(center)and
one in bedroom(rear double)
The blue paint on the lower window was hidden by insulation,
The vista view above it was stuffed with fiberglass, and foam. I got
the foam out, how to get paint off of plastic ?
On the outside, all the visaviews were gooped up solid with silver
roofing tar. Paint thinner and thousands of paper towels later....
This furnace is a replacement, it only works on 110v, and they
massacred the cabinet. Out of sight on left, the dreaded Univolt.
I had Intellipower and the Wizard put in, plus an Optima Battery. Maybe
solar someday.
Here is the original shade and housing over the sink. Note attractive
gold fringe on shade. Note also how stained with tobacco it is. I took
the whole thing out, and put in a plastic venetian blind. Did that on
all the windows, privacy and light at the same time. Original curtains
long gone, although the rods and hangers are there.
This is one of the front wrap around windows. You can see the
condensation and the seal falling down. Another day's project.
The inside of the shower, very stained with rust. So far only sanding
it will remove it. Same with plastic sink top.
We are not looking at the bathroom floor yet.
Here you can get a good look at the flower motif in the bathroom. It
still looks dirty. It is also IMHO hideous.
Meet Darth Vader. 1997 Dodge Ram, Stretch bed, club cab, Cummins Turbo
Diesel. Big bad truck!
Clear coat is in pretty good shape.
