Chile: Principal regions, from north to south, are Aconcagua, Maipo, Rapel, and Maule. Principal grapes are the Cabernets, Merlots, Syrah, Malbec, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon.

Argentina: Principal regions are in the states of Mendoza and San Juan. Grapes include Chenin Blanc, Semillon, Reisling, Chardonnay, Malbec, Bonarda, Tempranillo, Barbera, Lambrusco, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Syrah.
