Amateur Radio Relay League New Hampshire section (NH-ARRL) and the Northern New England Army Military Affiliate Radio System (NNE AMARS) representatives sign a renewed and revised memorandum of understanding.  Representative of both emergency communications groups met to renew and restate an agreement whereby each organization agreed to work together to provide volunteer emergency radio communications to the people and governments of New Hampshire.

 

The New Hampshire Amateur Radio Relay League is headed by Section Manager Mr. Allan Schuman.  The Northern New England Army MARS group consisting of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont is headed by State MARS Director Mr. Rudolf Adler

 

New Hampshire Amateur Radio Emergency Service (NH-ARES) is a group of amateur radio operators organized within NH-ARRL section and is headed by Section Emergency Coordinator Mr. Gary O'Kula.  His group consists of approximately 400 licensed amateur operators interested in emergency communications.

 

NNE AMARS consists of over 50 Department of Defense (DOD) radio stations who provide emergency and backup communications for the military and other government agencies.
